| I'm not a big fan of musicals, but Oliver is on my Top 5 list. I enjoy the movie version so much, and I can still watch it over and over after 40 years. Everything in this movie is excellent starting with songs, choreography … to magnificent Ron Moody as Fagin. I still remember when I saw him for the firs time I couldn’t believe that it’s a real man and not a cartoon character. No one can repeat the way Ron is moving and walking. Check on youtube for more Oliver clips, buy DVD or if you are lucky see it live. |
